What is Alliance?
AYSO Alliance is club soccer - a competitive soccer program designed to provide a more challenging level of play for those players who possess the appropriate interest and skills, to enhance each player's experience and individual growth through the game of soccer while retaining the spirit and organization of AYSO. Teams in the Alliance program compete in club leagues on Maui Hawaii, and optionally, in AYSO and open club tournaments.
What is the Quality of Coaching/Training in the Alliance Program?
All Alliance coaches possess both AYSO and USSF certifications as a requirement for selection. All of our coaches go through additional training and education to keep their skills and knowledge of the game up to date. As well, professional trainers can be used to work with the teams/players to further develop and enhance their skills. These sessions focus on technical and tactical development of all players, as well as goal keeper training for those who play that position.
What are the Costs Associated with Alliance?
The cost of the program will be roughly 1/3 the cost of for-profit club soccer programs. It consists of:
- AYSO National registration fee.
- ALLIANCE Program fee (which includes: training fees, practice shirts, uniform rental, field usage, and league team registration fees)
Fees do not cover league individual player registration fees and any optional tournament fees.
