AYSO Alliance Maui

Make a difference in the youth soccer community

Volunteer with AYSO today!

AYSO runs on the power of our volunteers! With over 100,000 parents, neighbors, relatives, and friends lending their time and talents, each child gets a terrific AYSO experience. Help make a difference in the lives of the kids in your community today! Ready to play?

Become an AYSO Coach

AYSO has developed special training to help volunteers who may have little or no soccer experience quickly gain the age-appropriate knowledge and skills they need to become outstanding coaches. To become an AYSO coach, you must be certified in the age level you will be coaching.

Become an AYSO Referee

The referee’s job is to be the official in charge of the game. A referee’s authority extends to everyone at the field, including players, substitutes, team officials, spectators, and even assistant referees. AYSO Referees keep the game safe, fair and fun for everyone: the players, the coaches, the spectators, and themselves!

Become an AYSO Administrator

Every AYSO Section, Area, and Region is led by a team of administrators and board who help with strategy and implementation of creating a great soccer program for your community. If you are interested in serving in these and other important volunteer positions, contact Jai Park, AYSO Alliance Maui Coach, [email protected]

MY2025-2026 Season

You are signing up to tryout to play with AYSO Alliance Maui for the 2025-2026 seasons in the competitive Winter HYSA and Spring Ohana Leagues.

The AYSO registration is a two step process.

First, complete applying and checking out through this website. THERE IS NO CHARGE TO TRYOUT.

Tryouts will be held on a per player basis going forward at Kula Park. Please contact Contact Coach Jai at  [email protected] for scheduling.

Second, after tryouts, you will receive communication from the coach and/or this Sports Connect website:
(1) Notifying you that your child has been accepted to play OR
(2) Notifying you that your child is not yet ready for our program.

If you receive option (1) you will receive an email with the link to accept or decline the position. You will have 48 hours to accept or decline. If declining, please do click the decline button so you do not continue to have an open shopping cart connected to your player and so the Coach can offer the position to another player.

Still Deciding?

We are an All-Volunteer organization, and we rely on everyone pitching in, in some capacity, to help fulfill our mission. Only interest, not experience, is needed to volunteer!

Our mission is to provide high-quality, low-cost youth soccer to as many children in our immediate and surrounding communities as possible.

We simply cannot do that without every family pitching in in some way. Parents, neighbors, relatives, and friends lend their time and talents so that each child gets a terrific AYSO experience.

There are many ways to be part of your child’s soccer experience. Some positions require ongoing commitments, such as coaching a team. Other roles support one-time events, like picture day or helping out with our end-of-year events. Some positions even allow you to volunteer on your own time from your own home!

Upon registering your child, you will be asked to select a volunteer role. The roles listed are the most critical to the success of our program. The more active referees and coaches we have in our program, the better the experience we can provide to more players.

If you have no desire to coach or referee, or your schedule simply won't allow you to make that commitment, we have numerous other essential roles that need to be filled. Email Jai Park, AYSO Alliance Maui Coach, [email protected]. You will be able to tell us about what you like to do, what you are good at, and how much time you are able to devote to helping the Region. We will help you find a role that works for you.

AYSO Maui Alliance and AYSO National is proud to provide the training, both in person and online, and mentorship you need to be successful in whatever role you choose, for free. AYSO training doesn't stop, as long as you're having fun! Referees, coaches and administrators have clinics, workshops and other advanced training courses available to advance their skills.
